It’s not necessarily all about family history, I can also help with any kind of historical or probate research.

If you are a researcher, author or a fellow genealogist with Lincolnshire interests and based too far away for it to be practical for you to visit an archives then I can help.  I am an experienced researcher so if there is something you need please get in touch.  I use a digital SLR camera to photograph documents which I will then send to you by email.  Sometimes these old documents can be difficult to read, I can transcribe documents for you as well if necessary.

 

I am available to visit Lincoln Central Library, Lincolnshire Archives and Museums, North East Lincolnshire Archives and Nottinghamshire Archives.   This is not an exhaustive list so get in touch if there is something you think I might be able to help with.

I have worked for solicitor’s firms on probate cases to locate possible heirs.  I can produce a fully referenced report of my findings.
